There are too many irresponsible Americans who would put having cell phones with unlimited calling and texting, big screen TVs with full access to all cable programs and new cars in the garage with all the bells and whistles ahead of acquiring health insurance and providing for their retirement; therefore, leaving the taxpayer holding the bag for keeping them. There must be a mandatory health program for every American and a mandatory retirement program for every worker based on his income from all sources. If systems are regulated well, then there shouldn't be a problem; and if health care was a "right" for everyone this wouldn't be an issue.
